The setting was absolutely beautiful, the chateau was beautifully decorated and the room was very spacious and clean.
We expected to arrive late, but there was no way to speak to anyone about it. No-one picked up the telephone and messaging through Booking was not replied either. We found our room by opening every room in the chateau! There was nobody there. We also booked a room with breakfast, but nobody showed up in the morning. Again, no answer by telephone. Pretty strange. It was quite a drive through the countryside, so the arrival was kind of spooky in this way.

The owner made it clear that she didn’t believe in the Covid vaccine and wasn’t vaccinated .This is unacceptable and we should have been told despite our being protected.
