Had no problems. Old-school. Air conditioner is new and works really well.
Water pressure in shower could be a bit better but wasn’t much of a problem.

Location is excellent, right in the city centre, and 10 minutes from the Gibraltar entry point.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds basic but well kept. The temperature was bearable, with a combination of a fan, shutters, and a good position away from the sun.
WiFi was OK.
Showers were just outside the room. Good temperature and flow.
Lack of a credit card machine. I was charged €7 to withdraw cash, so wasn't so cheap in the end...

You have a private room with shared bathrooms in the hall. You have complete privacy when using bathroom as its all yours when using it. Great location for restaurants and short walk to Gibraltar. You also have a sink in your private room. Staff at front allowed me to stay the first night because I thought it was prepaid, but it wasn't and they only took cash. So I had to find an ATM I could use. Paid next day. They were trusting and understood.
Room had a musty - mildew smell. I tried to leave my fan going while I was gone to help air it out, however maid staff turned it off. They also closed my closet when I was trying to air out stuff in it. No towels provided. Bed was rather hard and uncomfortable. They take no cards, are cash only!
