What an amazing find. We visited to see our son only for one night. The staff were polite and so helpful and friendly. The rooms were great with comfy beds and the food was delicious. We will hopefully be regular guests.

The staff were lovely and so welcoming. The room was lovely too, the large ground floor window opened onto a view of the garden. The bathroom looked amazing, but, see below.
The bathroom and walk in shower had a marble floor which was so slippery when wet we had to put towels down. There was absolutely nowhere to put toiletries except on the cistern where they fell into the toilet. The shower was so difficult to work out, (and we’ve stayed in many hotels) There was absolutely same in the room, there was nowhere to put anything. There were two cupboards to hang stuff, but nowhere to put underwear or other stuff.
We didn’t ask for a quiet room as stated above, but if we had we might have been disturbed by the constant squeaking of floorboards above us
