Everything, as usual.
Been going for 50 years.
My husband adores the Officers Bar. All the memorabilia. Loves meeting all the sons and daughters of War Veterans and hearing their tales.
Everything is Old England. It evokes memories of flower filled gardens and afternoon tea. Perfection.
Seeing the big breakfast tubs pouring out steam from the Bain Marie's in the WWII officers bar.
The windows were steaming up as were some photos and cuttings and precious things being damaged. Soon they will mould and fox with the damp. In our opinion these should be taken out immediately and swapped for the cold breakfast or better still nothing at all. It's all too precious.

The staff. Hotel and room were excellent and exactly what we wanted for my wife’s 80 th birthday see you again 7 th Nov.
The paella needed more fish content. Mines better.

Nice breakfast with friendly staff. Ample parking with EV charging available.
Grand building but rooms are looking tired and need updating. Small basic TV placed on low TV not viewable from the bed, need larger smart TV mounted on wall. Carpet old, flat pile and marked in numerous places needs replacing. Bathroom windows cannot be opened due to overpainting, extractor fan doesn’t cope with the steam. Room 308 overlooks the waste bins and service area, noisy and unpleasant.
