Lovely lodge, in peacefull location, just keep on top of the cleaning in between guests

Lovely secluded location near to bude and clovelly Villages, very quiet even though there were other lodges nearby, lots of birdlife in the garden. The owners were very kind by leaving a bottle of wine and some cookies which we thought were a lovely touch

We arrived to find the lodge covered from the ceilings down dust webs like mrs havershams house which took us about an hour to clean ourselves, and hoover and one towel smelling like wet dog, the beds were clean and sheets changed as were the toilets and showers, one shower head had rusted through so just used the other cubicle, once we had cleaned the lodge was fab, quiet away from the hussle and bussle of daily life. My advice to owners would be to do a proper deep clean in between guests.
