Tolerable

it’s very close to the old town, lady was very welcoming.

I was surprised at the charge of the parking space. While I understand the situation with parking spaces in old town I was under impression that parking is s provided with accommodation not charged separately - this should be mentioned when booking the stay because I would never booked it if I had known. Also, bathroom was dirty, Wi-fi doesn’t work, lights don’t work

We genuinely don't understand how this place has such a high rating. We would never stay here again.

The ONLY positive aspect of this accommodation is the central location. Other than that, we absolutely cannot recommend staying here. Dirty apartments, mold smell, broken heating, non-working WiFi, and ending the trip with a police situation completely ruined the experience for us.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a group of 9 people and unfortunately this was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have had. First of all, the apartments looked very different from the photos. That alone would not have been a major issue for us, but the cleanliness absolutely was. Both apartments were very dirty. The towels smelled sour and unwashed, and some of them even had large holes in them. We found hair everywhere on the beds, and the bathrooms were not properly cleaned either. The lower apartment had a very strong mold/humidity smell. The studio apartment upstairs was also extremely cold because the air conditioning/heating did not work properly, so people were freezing during the night. On top of that, the WiFi did not work in either apartment at all. We informed the host and were told that the router would be restarted, but nothing changed and the internet still did not work. The biggest disaster happened on the day of check-out. We paid extra for parking (2 cars for 2 nights = 40€), but when we tried to leave in the morning, another car had intentionally blocked the parking entrance so none of us could get out. We contacted the host and were told that the car owner would move the vehicle soon, but nothing happened. We ended up waiting outside in the rain for almost 2 hours and even had to call the police. The police later explained to us that this was not the first time this had happened. Apparently there is an ongoing conflict between the host and the owner of the parking area/car, and the police had already dealt with similar situations before. This was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially considering we paid extra for parking that apparently was not even properly managed by the property. As soon as the car owner finally arrived, the host disappeared and simply told us to leave quickly because the other person was supposedly “criminal.” It was a shocking and stressful experience for all of us.

Would not recommend.

The location.

I want to preface this by saying that I speak Serbo-Croatian fluently, so you can rule out miscommunication/misunderstanding with the owner due to language barrier. While the owner appeared to be nice, she scammed us big time. I booked this place because I thought the parking is free, but when we arrived at the location the owner told us that we have to pay €10 per day. We were only staying one day. I told her I was under impression that the parking is free. She said no problem, she will give it to me for free but I have to give her good review. I was very thankful. She showed us the room that we apparently booked but then she said she will upgrade us. The images I saw on the website looked nothing like what she was showing me. When we got to the place she was giving us, she wanted money right away. She said we need to pay €10 on top of the price because of Sarajevo tax. I told her the tax is already in the price, she said “oh no, around here the tax is always €10 extra for airbnbs”. I wasn’t going to argue with her because we really needed a place to stay and she already had our card, so I just gave her the extra money. So, in the end I paid €10 for the parking that she said was free. The place was disgusting - stains on beds, fungus in shower… *she did not offer to us to check the place for cleanliness before paying, as she claims in her replies to other negative comments*. She provided dish soap, and diluted dish soap for hands. There was no body wash, shampoo, conditioner, soap, nothing. She said we could use the diluted dish soap to shower, as it’s gentle enough. The pillows were SO high that I literally could not sleep. We just spent the night and got out as quickly as we could. I felt very unsafe in this place. The wifi did not work majority of time, unless you stood by the router, which was in the shared hallway with other tenants. All in all, I would not recommend this place.
