Room was a good size and quiet. In beautiful and historical area.
Restaurant was Michelin starred.
Breakfast was situated in the main building and easy access.
Room floors could have been cleaner, carpet marked and bathroom floor dusty. No air conditioning or fridge available no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Restaurant fully booked on first night of stay and closed for the further two nights with no alternative on site.
Breakfast, no pastries available but adequate otherwise.

The bar was a bit lonely, and you must book the restaurant months in advance.

Fosters the ambience of the 12th century abbey. It was extremely quiet throughout the hotel and grounds and I was able to spend time in the Plantagenet burial Abbey by myself, at night and early in the morning.

Lovely setting.
Ermits baskets were overpriced and not very nice.
The bedroom was stuffy and very hot and the fan was inefficient and just boxing warm air.
