Location is excellent. Good surf break, closeto restaurants and small markets yet not too close that you hear cars or nightlife.

I love that there are no children allowed. Easy check-in process. Great on-site laundry service. We were there on a Wednesday, so it was very dead feeling. (Not their fault!) Decent pool and food/drink options. Cool areas to hang. Exclusive parking lot. Staff was kind and helpful. Walkable to the main roads filled with shops, eateries, bars, etc. Macaws outside the window.
For such a large hostel, the kitchen was super small. There were small, biting red ants all over our room. There was a thin sheet and no blanket on either bed. (We had deluxe room with ocean view.) The whole room reeked of sewage the entire time, even with the windows open and fan/AC on. This is a structural issue related to the bathroom plumbing that the building should address. This was a pricey hostel in comparison to all of our other stays, so I was unimpressed.
