Unreal experience sleeping in a hotel that replicates a cave just modernised! The rooms were very spacious, very comfortable and very clean. The restaurant staff, cleaning staff and one man who assisted with our luggage upon check-in, were so kind and helpful. There are some good restaurants nearby, and grocery stores but otherwise your main town for exploring is likely Göreme which is only a 10 minute drive away.
We booked the sunrise horse riding and Turkish night show through the hotel which we later realised costed us double the price of if we were to book in Göreme with a local vendor. So I would look elsewhere to book activities. Also two of the front desk staff were quite rude when trying to pay. They undercharged us initially, then had to add on additional fees that we were trying to get further clarification on but were met with frustration and anger from the staff.

It is a great little town out of the touristy gosleme but close enough to do all activities
Premises are massive and well kept- historical building as well
If you get room 121 better to have earplugs on as you would get 5am noise from traffic or people moving things
The spa pool water was cold and couldn’t use it
Maybe a bit pricey at the end

Beautiful hotel, lovely room with comfortable beds, great facilities including spa, gym and pool. The staff were all very friendly and hospitable. I was woken up by banging at 3am one night and as a result the hotel offered me to go on a free horse riding tour! Very kind. Breakfast was delicious too. I enjoyed staying in the quieter Ortahisar, but I did have to hire a car for €100 for 2 days in order to get around. I’m glad that I did though!

Location is superb. View is amazing. Room was a proper cave room, little dark I think because of being the cave with fresh air challenges but it was okay for one night. Bathroom was clean and big with nice amenities. I also liked the spa; opening hours 2pm–10pm, and it was clean when I was there. The lady at the reception during my check-in was friendly and professional. She was kind enough to let us check in slightly earlier. The cats in the garden were a cute detail
Staff was awkward, I think there are operational issues at the hotel.
None of the cushions were on the chairs on the terrace, and when we asked them to place them, it was a crisis amongst the team. After placing them, they even questioned us why we weren't sitting after we'd asked. Another odd moment: we stayed at the terrace floor, the bottom.
The staff was airing the duvets from the upper floors, so all the dirt and dust came down on us. We warned them and they apologised.
Breakfast was just random stuff; representation and quality is something I doubt is there.
In summary, I would not recommend the hotel if you are looking for a decent stay with some hospitality. The cats were more welcoming than some staff.
