Poor WiFi connection!!!! No plug near the bedside!!! facilities in the description aren't correct. Deceiving pictures. (Pictures while booking are different from reality)!!! Be careful!!! Bad smell of the corridor. Bad smell of the room!!!

Pleasant

The location in the park is good, only 2min to the bus stop. The bedsheets are clean. The breakfast was tasty and in buffet form but everyday the same food is served. The lockers in the room are good.

Despite that there is a bus connection to the city centre, it is not very convenient. There was a smell of mould in the room. The small bedlamps were not working. The shower was just okay, but not super clean and just old. There are very few sockets in the room.

Pleasant stay

It was quite and the staff were friendly, the breakfast was really good.

The carpet smelt like wet socks and the sink on the room was clogged a bit.

Good

Jugendherberge (in general) isn't exactly a hostel. This one is like a camp, there are groups here and there and the cows are walking around in the field nearby and the area is foresty. It's cheap and good for a night or two. And the breakfast is included.

- A bit far. There is just 1 bus that goes there every 30 min or so - Shower was just dumm. Very high up and there were like 5 separate thin streams. I can't say I felt very cleaned up after it

The property is very clean and fairly close to the Bahnhof

There is no proper Wifi connection in the rooms. You may have to sit in the common area to access the Wi-Fi

Quite cheap accomodation close to the Aachen centrum. Staff wad polite.

A bit noisy, eslecially clapping boors. Avoid of rooms near of main door on the floor. You will hear everyone coming through.

Disappointing

One member of the team was nice.

Mattress are covered with a thick rubber cover which inhibits any air circulation. The bed lining had more of a hospital vibe than bringing comfort. Breakfast is really not worth the money.

Not worth the money.

The personnel was nice and the rooms very clean.

No soap or shower gel in the room. Bed lights were blindingly bright. We had to make our own beds and carry our linen and towels to laundry ourselves. We also had to go down to the reception to fetch towels because there were none in the room. Parking spots were hard to find. And while I can accept this for a cheap hostel, this was not worth the high price. I've had hotels charge me less for better service.

I get the booking in a short period of time and was successful but I faced difficulties in making the reservation while making payment. In the first round of trial i got an offer for 112 Euro 2 adults and two children but since the payment process was not successful I tried to repay again and the offer was increased to 122.59 EURO, which i paid succefully but in the second step all other information was correctly saved except 2 children which I noticed while we were reporting at the reception. We tried to upgrade the booking but with no success and I was obliged to pay extra 49 EUR to get similar services. I appeal to your office to refund the 49 EUR which I paid extra to use the same service.

It was not possible to upgrade my reservation to correct the mistake done during reservation The absence of this flexibility to upgrade my booking has costed me extra money and in addition the price for one night in the same hotel for 2 adults and two children was yesterday on our arrival 115 EUR which means the system has costed me more than 60 Euro. I don't see in the future to consider reservation by booking. Com. I will appreciate if you could refund me the extra payment I did to spend the night in this hotel

Poor bed&bike facilities

Very clean, hotel-like hostel. Good breakfast.

We came here especially because of the bed&bike label. We were dissapointed because it had very poor “bike” facilities (bike storage is a gardener’s shed quite far off with no bike rack + no bike pump or other bike tools available). If we would have know that, we would have gone to a hostel closer to the center. Other than that, the room was also quite noisy (poor sound insulation).
