You have to go a long way to beat this.location. it is stunning, absolutely tranquil but with a busy village below. A path leads down from a spectacular birds eye view to the inlet (note this is exposed with rocks and too dangerous to swim). We watched the hotel workers go down and litter pick anything the ocean delivered, as did we. There are wheely bins on site. There is parking but w you absolutely myst have a high clearanve vehicle to get here because there is an uphill section of 'road' which is quite a challenge.
Staff are all so nice and friendly and when I explained I was a vegan they went out especially to get some vegetables and really made an effort. The diningareanis outside on a stunning viewing platform. 1 afternoon we bought a bottle of wine (approx €16 and sat there playing cards *that the hotel lent us) just to enjoy where we were. Bottled water is proveded the first night. All windows have nets to keep mosquitoes out (in July/August there was not a big problem with mosquitoes). The hut has a bedroom (with aircon but we had all the windows open to listen to the sea crashing below) and flowers had been left on the bed. The bathroom (basic but hot water) and a sitting room. The grounds are immaculate and a great place to watch the kites and fruit bats.
There was nothibg I did not like except the section of uphill 'road' (which does not belong to the hotel). It was by far the worst we encountered during our trip around the islands.

Ubicación junto a playa y facilidad de ir a la Isla de Rolas. El cocinero y responsable, Antonio, fue muy diligente en los desayunos, cenas y organizarnos excursiones que le pedíamos.
No hubo mayor problema pero para llegar al hotel has de ir en 4X4 sí o sí.

Tivemos uma excelente experiência neste alojamento em São Tomé. O Silvino, o proprietário, foi extremamente disponível, tendo tido o cuidado de adaptar a estadia às necessidades das nossas duas crianças, o que fez toda a diferença.
O bungalow é simples, mas muito funcional, com o básico para uma estadia confortável, incluindo ar condicionado. As refeições eram saborosas com produtos locais (por exemplo peixe fresco), com produtos de qualidade, o que valorizou bastante a experiência.
Importa referir que não se trata de um resort de luxo, mas é perfeito para passar uns dias naquela zona mais remota da ilha, onde praticamente não há nada à volta e o acesso é feito por estradas em mau estado. Ainda assim, o local é muito tranquilo, sossegado e seguro — ideal para descansar e com duas praias acessíveis por uma escadaria de fácil acesso.
Os funcionários foram sempre muito simpáticos e disponíveis, com destaque especial para o António, pelo seu profissionalismo e simpatia.
Gostámos muito das duas noites que lá passámos e consideramos o alojamento uma excelente base para explorar a zona sul da ilha. O Silvino organizou ainda o nosso passeio ao Ilhéu das Rolas, com almoço incluído — fomos recolhidos diretamente no resort de barco, o que tornou a experiência ainda mais especial.
Inicialmente tinhamos efetuado reserva por uma noite mas acabámos por ficar mais uma (é fundamental para quem quer explorar melhor aquela zona).
Recomendo!
Tendo em conta o contexto da zona e as condições de acesso em São Tomé que são muito más, consideramos que não há muito a apontar em termos de melhorias. Ainda assim, eventualmente, poderia haver uma renovação pontual de algum mobiliário, apenas para tornar o espaço ainda mais confortável.

El lloc és paradisiac. L’esmorzar està força bé.
Necessita una reforma important i molt manteniment. Les cabanes s’han quedat antigues i la zona comú està en reformes. Hi ha dues pasarel·les que van a les dues platges (espectaculars) que necessiten també neteja i manteniment. I el preu no és barat, comparat amb altres establiments propers de molta millor qualitat. Poc recomanable, a menys que facin una gran inversió.
