Great place to stay and excellent value for money.

We had a great stay at Nore River House. Robert was a great host, offering lots of tips for things to see & do in Kilkenny. Great value for money, would definitely recommend.

Not a happy experience

The bnb was very dark and uninviting , the room was dark and gloomy , no tv and there was no cooked breay

I didn’t like the house at all , too dark , room dark, no tv , no cooked Irish breakfast , certainly not value for money

Very comfortable stay close to the center of Kilkenny.

Robert was a very friendly and helpful host. The informal breakfast provided was unexpected, and very much appreciated.

Friendly, helpful, great location 🥹

Robert was very helpful and informative. My husband booked and forgot to add the extra guest (his dad 😅) but the host was fantastic, helped us. It was a little cramped but it worked.

Cozy house

The room was practical, spacious and had everything. The heating was amazing ! The owner is helpful. If you want to, there are some things to have breakfast in the kitchen.

Since it's a private house, you can hear everything from the room next door.

Great stay with a super host!

The host is super nice and it was a very warm welcome and a great start into our Ireland vacation. We got great insides where to go and eat. Even if it says no breakfast, there is a great complimentary breakfast with toast and cereals and nice coffee and tea.

Robert is such a great host and the apartment is very cosy. The best thing was the kitchen where we were served free breakfast. Robert is so concerned about the quality of the whole experience that he even wants his garden and outside to be perfect. We wish him luck and thank you for everything, Joshua & Michael

very enjoyable stay with exceptional host. My partner accidentally took the rooms hairdryer thinking it was my own. cont

lovely spacious rooms with comfortable beds. extremely clean property with such a welcome host that welcomes you on arrival. Also there is a wonderful breakfast available from communal kitchen which m the morning! Honestly can’t fault anything from this property at all.

could hear the mumble of people talking from other rooms/hallway area but that is to be expected.

Hidden gem

The rooms are new and comfortable, the house is situated in a very easily reachable spot. Breakfast is amazing, but the true pearl of this place is its keeper. Kind, fun, always available for anything. A true treasure!

A cozy and peaceful room, within easy walking of the main part of town.

A delightful stay! We were warmly welcomed by Robert, the manager. A comfortable bed, exceptionally clean, and very quiet. Easy walk to city center with restaurants, stores and the Kilkenny castle. We’d definitely return to Nore River House again! Thank you.
