Location - amazing! The view - stunning!
As a family, we are not fans of shared bathrooms, but we made it work! One room included a private in-room bathroom, but the other one was shared with other guests on the same floor........The in-room bathroom also provided us with "critters" on the ceiling!

The location to the castle was exceptional and being able to drive up to the restaurant was a huge benefit. Once the castle closed we had it to ourselves and it was extremely peaceful
The restaurant closed very early so there was no food available. I think a vending machine with food or snacks would help.

The location was absolutely fantastic. The proximity to the castle was incredible.
The staff were a bit dismissive. Always felt like they had somewhere else to be. Also after 6pm there is absolutely no staff around assist in anyway.
Our room had a very foul smell, and the carpet was strangely damp by the entrance of our room. We opened our windows to air it out but there were no screens so we had bees flying in.
Breakfast was disappointing. Staff again felt very distracted and dismissive. We came at at 8:45am, and there was very little food left and was never replenished.

Unfortunately I have not enough look at the comments and the location is the hotel's only selling point—it's right at the foot of the castle—but unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for the lack of information provided at the time of booking...
The staff is leaving at 18/19h and there is not possibility to get lunch without going to the town below.
The bathroom and toilets are shared (maybe my mistake but I see no mention of that).
The room itself is quite old and in the room we were the wifi was unreachable and mobile service was nearly not existing so to summarize: no food, no drink, no internet to pass the time... Not a great time
