We were greeted at the door and shown around. The kitchen was great for preparing meals, as is necessary on that part of the peninsula. They even had an area with toys and puzzles, which my child was excited to play with (great for when we were preparing food).
If all of the rooms are occupied, it can feel like you are on top of each other in the communal space. On the other hand, it is called “communal” for a reason, and it was nice being able to connect with other travelers.

Nice owners, great location and beautiful surroundings. Waterfalls behind the house ate just bonus on top.
It’s older house with four really small rooms and shared kitchen and bathroom, so do not expect privacy. No problem for us though.

Location was great - responsive host with local recommendations. Room was comfy and clean. Kitchen was good enough and clean.
Unclean shower (hair). Only one bathroom for multiple guests to use and share. A little unclear about the people who lived there and what was for guests to use and what wasn’t (shoe racks and boxes at the front steps? What doors were allowed to be opened?). Very noisy when anyone walks down the hallway or uses the front door. Kitchen was only just big enough for one person to use at a time.
