The 'Deluxe Double Room' was spacious and bright. You need a car to get around but it was good value for Reykjavik
Parking spaces outside can fill up and you may need to drive to nearby street to park

Outside the paid parking zones, located in an active neighborhood, walking distance to a bakery
Seating arrangements, no real convenient place to put luggage, drip coffee machine leaked coffee, and bed frame wasn't easy to navigate in middle of night, no bath towels and hair shampoo.

In the old part of Reykjavík. Maria the host was extremely warm and friendly. I felt welcomed and at home. Light filled apartment and comfortable bed.

The room was clean and well equipped. The location was good, with about a 20 minute walk to most places that we wanted to visit. Owner was friendly and helpful.
The room is below ground level and fronts onto a street. There are no blinds or curtains in the window that faces the street. Part of the window is reflective glass but part is regular glass so anyone passing by can look in the room. The bed is built against the wall on one side and it is in a wooden frame that you have to climb onto in order to get into bed, which we found inconvenient.
