Breakfast was fine. Not a huge selection but good overall. The beds were comfortable and the staff were lovely. What we appreciated the most was the stunning views directly over the lake, the peace and quiet. Amazing location. We shall be back gain.

Very welcoming staff, good sized rooms, clean and great views of the lake. Breakfast was perfect with the added bonus of cooking to order. As an Interior designer the space was well done without being over the top like some hotels.

These were the best hosts ever! The owners, Ceclia and Jonas, truly know how to make a hotel experience personal and unique. We felt cared for and received such special service for our entire stay. We loved them! We had the most wonderful time at Håveruds Hotell. We came as guests and we left feeling like they were family and wanted to take them with us back to America. It truly was the most amazing visit during our month in Europe. There were so many ways that this is such an amazing place in Sweden to stay. First, our room with a balcony was overlooking the stunning lake. Relaxing on the deck was so restful and restorative. The chef, Cecilia, was an angel and made the best salads we have eaten with an incredible abundance of shrimp and wild garlic dressing made with local ingredients. Her dinners were carefully crafted and plated with such delicious taste. And, I especially loved her homemade pumpkin seed and sesame seed butter. (She should bottle this and sell it!) Jonas served up the most incredible abundant breakfasts. He was so kind and helpful showing us the property and assisting my mom through the grounds. And, he must have scheduled the sunshine for our entire visit:) But my favorite part was our special surprise sauna celebration. This is not to be missed with a floating sauna heated by a fireplace, right on the water so I could try jumping in! A true Swedish experience! Shestan and Phillipa were angles as well. They took care of our every need and made us feel welcome and at home. We will definitely go back to this gem and hopefully bring our family as well. We did grab a handful of brochures and have handed them out to others. Do not miss this lovely Hotell experience in the most gorgeous setting! After returning home, it shines as a highlight of our most amazing adventure! We miss you all at Haveruds!
