Mount Nelson exceeded all our expectations. The hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. We deeply appreciated the seamless airport and safari transfers, and the beautiful honeymoon suite preparation made us feel so special.
The Afternoon Tea was unforgettable — special thanks to Nawal for her wonderful hospitality. The breakfast was amazing, and the attention to detail was outstanding throughout.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Mikael and the entire Guest Experience team, who took care of every single detail, and to the Concierge team who helped us explore the beauty of Cape Town.
Honestly — visiting Cape Town is something, but staying at Mount Nelson is something else entirely. A truly magical honeymoon we'll cherish forever. Highly recommended! 🌸💕

Breakfast selection one of the best I have seen from a hotel of this type. Everything was available to a very high standard. Great breakfast area with outside terrace and view of the pool and garden.
Staff were so friendly and engaging. Being addressed by name whenever walking through reception is special.
When I arrived the first thing I noticed was the chandeliers. They are stunning but they were dusty and needed a good clean. If a location is going to have large crystal chandeliers especially in a lobby with high footfall they have to sparkle.

Nice location, excellent staff
We got an upgrade. Apparently our room rate was £2500 per night. The room was a bit old and falling apart.
