L' Escala Resort

The apartment had a nice patio garden, there was access to a pool on the other side of building. Aldi over the road and a few local restaurants within a few minute walk

The apartment was quite dark inside, requiring lights on at all times. The beach, shops and restaurants were about 15-20 minutes walk away and quite hilly.

It is beautiful, well kept, and clean. Great service from reception, even accommodating our early arrival. Setting is wonderful, very relaxing.

The apartment is well furnished but is lacking some ordinary essentials. There are kitchen towels, for instance, but no paper towels or anything to use for napkins. Similarly, no kitchen basics like olive olive or salt and pepper, no detergent for the washer. For a short stay, this greatly diminishes the advantage of the nice kitchen setup. Guests must fully stock the kitchen to be able to use it, only to then discard the mostly unused remainder, a very wasteful choice we don't want to make. This is the only resort of this caliber where we have experienced this, and for us is significant enough to discourage a repeat visit, despite how much we otherwise like the resort.

Beautiful tranquil peaceful space.

Property was clean and fairly new. Lovely peaceful area/location.

Didn’t like that it was so far away from restaurants, shops etc. it says it’s a 15 minutes walk but it’s really neater 30 minute walk to old town. There is an Aldi nearly however so that was a help. So we hired bikes to go into old town at night. Receptionist didn’t know where you could hire a bike even though there was a bike hire place only 5 minute walk from the property.
