We didn't know what to expect from a hospital hotel. As it turns out, it is pleasingly sterile! Our experience is that commercial hotels often cut corners on cleanliness, but we loved that this - being in the environment that it is in - delivered differently. No dust, hair, dirt, or weird smells. Or unnecessary decorative pillows.
Even though we booked this only because our original hotel had to close down during strikes, we see this as a blessing in disguise. None of the perfume shower on the way into the building or the sickingly sweet shower gel smells. Honestly exceeded our expectations in every way. Will stay there again rather than supporting the big chains!
The door has a large gap; as such, if someone were to stand outside and talk (on the phone, to another person, etc), you can hear them very well. The same probably applies the other way around. But it didn't bother us as we made sure to let the offenders know.

Really enjoyed the location. I really like that. It had lunch dinner and kveldsmat available for purchase since when we did come was during certain night and not a lot of food options were available.

It was quiet.
The room was very sterile looking, with only white, undecorated walls. No electrical outlets next to the bedside tables. Holes in the walls from removed equipment.
And it should have been made clear in the description that this is mainly a hotel for hospital patients and their family. A hospital hotel like this feels quite different from a regular hotel, even though there is nothing wrong with it and has the advertised facilities.
