Comfortable bed, central location, room set-up, price
Bathroom looks a bit grotty and needs refurbishment; no staff at reception that I saw; single use shower gel and shampoo sachets, none for third and fourth day available; poor WiFi; noise from fellow guests and whiff of smoke in corridor

Good spot for what I was trying to do in town.
The street they're on (it's one of the main streets of Mannheim ) and the entrance is not clean and maybe doesn't give it the most feeling of safety. Once inside it's very nice and safe.

It is central and the room was honestly clean.
The stairs are absolutely disgusting. Checkout is at 10 a woman knocks at the door 9h40 and says “so you’re checking out now right ?!” As in “take your stuff and go”
