The location was excellent, steps away from the city center. The roof top Vertigo bar has an excellent view of the Castle of Leiria. The breakfast was a typical continental nothing too fancy but good. The room was clean and included 2 bedrooms which was perfect for our family. Highly recommend.
My only comment is for the two staff members that worked during the morning in the breakfast area on Monday, July 20th. The older gentleman and woman were not pleasant, not even a good morning and kept circling around my table for some unknown reason, as I tried to finish my coffee. Just before leaving the older woman came to my table and dropped off a small card, she walked away and said you cannot take food to your room. I had made 2 small sandwiches for my sons that were going to miss breakfast because they were still sleeping. I apologized as I was not aware and I was totally embarrassed as she told me I cannot take a small plate with food to my room even though several other guests were taking coffee outside of the breakfast area. She asked if I wanted a tablet which I did not understand until she brought me a tray. She said i can load up on any other items using the tray but I guess just taking a small plate is not acceptable. By then I was so embarrassed at how I was treated by these two staff members that had continually circled my table and then stopped me on the way out. Very unprofessional and totally unnecessary treatment of guests over a small plate with two sandwiches and process of taking food to your room. I hope that this message is relayed to these individuals as they did not appear to enjoy their jobs and if this is the case should not be working in the hospitality industry. Regardless of how I was treated by these two individuals, I would highly recommend this hotel based on the pleasant staff at the reception area.

Clean and well equipped rooms (there was even a small kitchen). Nice and helpful staff, good breakfast. Great views on Leiria, especially that the glass escalator is facing the city. Located right in the historic center, all is just a walk away. Recommended(:
It’s under construction at the moment, it felt a bit dated but they’re obviously working on it(: Ventilation tubes brought back some strong smell of food to the room but nothing that we could not manage to get rid of.

Central location, free parking, friendly staff.
The beds, the pillows, room insonorization was not enough to cover the rooftop music, semi-cold water on arrival, bathtub accessibility was very hard, too tall with an extra height below.
