Good location near several Metro stops. We used Opera, Pyramides and 4 Septembre. The neighborhood felt very safe, even at night. It was also near a few small grocery stores, and many cafes and restaurants. The room had a safe and a small fridge, and the drinks inside were reasonably priced. There was Airconditioning, and we could also open the large windows for ventilation. A problem with one of the bathroom fixtures was fixed immediately.
This particular one room was small and had a lot of furniture. We asked the maid to take out a chair and clothes rack, which helped a lot

Central location comfy bed and reasonable sized room for solo traveller
It was noisy- every time surrounding rooms ran water it vibrated in my room including during the night

The person at the front desk was not at all welcoming and on the verge of rude. Being on vacation, I was nothing but pleasant and cheerful so it was disappointing to be treated poorly. My daughter stayed a block or so away, and as a visitor, the front desk at her hotel was very kind and hospitable to us even though we were not patrons. Big difference.
