Next to the park, quiet and beautiful location. Hotel lobby is very bright and spacious, lemon or orange flavored water available throughout the day. Breakfast buffet at €12 is good value, on-site restaurant is convenient as the hotel is a bit distance from the city center. There’s secure bike parking for rented bikes.
A bit dated, particularly the bathroom still reminiscent of former East Germany, which could also be part of the charm for some people.

The room was big and clean. The view from the window was nice (to the park). The location is not so far from the center. The staff was friendly.

positioned just by the beautiful Ilm-park , through which you can get to many famous places with in just les then 15 minutes. Bowling possibilities available.
