Location opposite the S-Bahn station wonderful, as you can get the train (S9) straight from airport (5 euro), as well as change routes for exploring all around the city, so easily and cheaply. Hotel and hostel are interchangeable for having access to facilities at reception, dining area with microwave, kettle and small oven and including the relaxing lounge with sofas. Room was a cosy single ensuite, with towels and toiletries provided. Bed was comfortable with lovely large pillow and summer-weight duvet. A pop-up table and chair were by the large window, that allowed plenty of light and was openable into two positions to allow for full ventilation or to keep aired, but not open wide. Fan provided as hot! Area felt safe for walking alone, at any time and great access to the local shops or restaurants for wide variety of foods or drinks.
Unfortunately WiFi advertised was not working during my stay, but receptionists able to help with their Smartphones. The noise did echo round courtyard, as I had my windows open, with everyone going up and down stairs, as no lift available, it did get a little trying at night when people forgot their manners!

Great location, nice staff and comfortable facilities. There is also a basic kitchen there. But no cooking facilities.

Practical location close to transport and lots of restaurants and bars
Cheapest place to stay the bed is uncomfortable and with the heat wave they had a 30 cm fan for 8 people. A complete furnace.
Probably a good place if you visit during the winter.
