Overall, the hotel had some positive aspects, but the negative experiences with cleanliness, pool availability, and staf

The dinner service was satisfactory, with a decent selection of dishes and attentive staff. The hotel’s location near the lake provided a serene and picturesque atmosphere, making it a lovely spot for relaxation and leisurely walks. Additionally, the surrounding scenery offered breathtaking views and opportunities for outdoor activities, which enhanced the overall experience during our stay.

Unfortunatelyrtunately, our stay was marred by several disappointing aspects. The state of the bathroom was disheartening, as the mouldy shower head required a complete replacement, and the room itself was dusty and also had mould issues. Despite the hotel’s claim to be kid-friendly, we were disappointed to find that the pool was only accessible to children from 5-6 PM, limiting their enjoyment. Moreover, the pool’s poor maintenance, with slimy tiles and green mould on the water line, made us concerned for our children’s health and safety. The staff’s lack of helpfulness was evident when I requested a child seat, as one of the attendants reacted dismissively by rolling his eyes. Lastly, the unexpected parking charges were frustrating, as our booking indicated that it should have been free. These negatives significantly impacted our overall impression of the hotel and made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped for.

Good hotel with spa and termal swimming pools. Good meal at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was every day the same but dinner was always different. Good room with all nessesary.

Wifi is terrible. Should make anything for better internet. Some times was problem to find parking slot. Staff in the restaurant not friendly. On the evening dinner something to drink need to order from staff and wait, when they come to your tabel. Juice, tea and coffe aswell. Last day they came to us at the end of our dinner. Very strange, because at breakfast it was all the time.

2 nights in Thermal Heviz

The thermal baths, the outdoor pools and the Spa saunas are great.

The food was not great. The selection was very limited and mainly eastern European style. Being vegetarian was also a huge challenge. The Hotel and rooms are outdated and urgently call for a renovation.

Over all I like my stay and plan come back.

I like facilities, swimming pools and hot water pools. Unfortunately hot pools were out of service for couple days. Food buffet style was good and everyone can find something to enjoy. Service people was very helpful and nice.

Only inconvenience that thermal pols were out of service for couple days.

A short getaway

We liked the wellness area. The saunas are really nice and beautiful. The pools are also nice, clean, we liked all the different pools. All in all a nice welness experience. The breakfast was good, a nice sortiment of all the different breakfast dishes. The dinner was also nice each day, with something special every day. The staff are all nice.

I would wish an all inclusive option in the hotel like it is in Ensana Aqua. And that all the service of bringing drinks to the table is charged every time.

Very nice stuff, really good saunas, outdoor pool with water temperature of 30 C, tasty food.

Room furniture is dated and bed is not very comfortable.

It would have been a great stay if the place had not been so cold.

The food was excellent. A great variety of hot & cold dishes and desserts. The staff was very friendly. The wellness area spacious.

It was VERY COLD. All over the place. From the room to the restaurant / coffee shop and the wellness area, as well.

The services, massage, sauna, doctors, thermal bath, spa under the same roof. Very helpful and kind staff. The wine selection was excellent!

The quality of the food dropped since I was there 5 years ago and the choices for vegetarian or food allergic persons was very limited. Also the displays on allergens were not available for each food.

Enjoyed the convenience of hotel and thermal water under one roof. Great selection of breakfast and dinner items. Staff was exceptional! Great service from check in to check out.

Elevators were crowded, very small. One was out of service.

Pleasant

The treatments and the spa facilities are very nice, the bed and pillows are comfortable. It is completely silent outside and the view of the lake is beautiful!

The food was ok, but the breakfast was exactly the same every morning. The bathroom requires an urgent renovation, it doesn't correspond to 4* hotel superior room. There was a shower and not a bathtub and when we asked if we can have the room with the bathtub, we were told it can be possible for 2 days out of 5 nights stay. It was very disappointing because I have made the choice in favor of this hotel instead of the one with a higher rating in Heviz only because there is an option of a bathtub. The heating was not working, it was very cold in the room and the reception didn't have any extra heaters, as well as the AC couldn't be used for heating. The hotel is full of people who mostly come for medical treatment and not for spa, so if you are a young couple, your should consider what is your attitude towards it.

Overal, a relaxing few days.

Although the hotel looks a bit dated, overall, it was clean and well kept. We booked for Diner bed and Breakfast . The food was tasty and plentiful. Booked a massage and it was vfery good too. Havis town itself was beautiful, clean and had many shopping and eating oppertunities.

The kettle in the room was not waorking and although the maintenance guy came up and promised a new one in a few minutes after an hour i had to go down to reception myself to get a new one. I would have thought a couple of small bottles of water would have been supplied in the room.

Great weekend getaway, good value

The hotel/spa was wonderful. A very relaxing and pleasant two days. The different pools and whirlpools were complementary and not overly crowded. The price included use of all--or mostly all--of the spa facilities and included breakfast and dinner. The buffets were ample, varied, and quite tasty. Though one might consider the price high, all of the extras, when taken into consideration, made it a very reasonable and good value.

The wi-fi was weak, and should be improved. Also, the use of one elevator (of three) caused some delay.
