Gute Unterkunftsmöglichkeit, wenn man Szeged zu Fuss entdecken will.

Dieses kleine Schmuckstück befindet sich in der nächsten Nähe von der Innenstadt von Szeged. Die Fussgängerzone, sowie auch sämtliche Einkaufs- und Essmöglichkeiten können zu Fuss erreicht werden. Das Empfangspersonal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Hat mir sogar eine Liste der Restaurants mit je einer kurzen Beschreibung gegeben. Mein Zimmer hatte die Fenster auf den Innenhof. Was ein Glück war, da das Gebäude direkt an der Strasse / Strassenbahnlinie liegt. Und die fahren von 5:00 Uhr morgens bis 11:00 Uhr nachts. Der Wagen konnte im Innenhof (gegen Gebühr) geparkt werden. Das Tor wurde zwar um 22:00 Uhr geschlossen, aber die Nachtrezeption war bereit, es aufzumachen, ist man später zurückgekehrt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Man konnte von vielen Sorten von Tee, Kaffe, kalte und warme Speisen wählen. Überall im Gebäude war es schön warm.

Die Treppen ins Gebäude sind sehr schmal und rutschig. Niemand bietet Hilfe an, die Koffer zu tragen. Ich habe sowieso nur weibliches Personal (zierliche junge Damen) getroffen. Das Zimmer hat keine Sitzmöglichkeit. Man kann nur auf dem Bett liegen und Fernsehen. Der Sanitärblock ist sehr klein. Die Toilette ist hinter der Tür, die nach innen (!) öffnet. Man muss sie komplett schliessen, damit man sie benutzen kann. Wenn nicht, dann stosst man auf die scharfe Kante der Duschkabine. Ich weiss nicht, wie so ein Zimmer für mehr als eine Person geeignet wäre. Aber alles in allem war ich mit der Unterkunft zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, werde wahrscheinlich wieder kommen.

Great for visiting the city and for a short stop. The room we stayed in was big, clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast. Very very close to city center and all the attractions.

It needs more parking spaces.

Our favorite hotel in Szeged

Our stay at Hotel Piano in Szeged was absolutely delightful, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! This was our fifth visit to the hotel, and the first since the ownership change. We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful renovations; the place felt incredibly fresh and very clean. The staff at Hotel Piano were exceptional and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly added a personal touch to our visit, and we felt like valued guests from the moment we arrived. Having a reserved parking place at a reasonable cost was incredibly convenient, and it relieved any worries about finding parking in the central area. The hotel's location is indeed very central, allowing us easy access to all the attractions and activities Szeged has to offer. The breakfast is reach with Hungarian offerings. We highly recommend Hotel Piano to anyone planning a visit to Szeged. Whether it's your first time in the city or you're a returning visitor like us, you'll be in for a treat. The hotel's charming ambiance, the warm and helpful staff, and the convenient central location all contribute to an outstanding experience. We look forward to our next visit and creating more cherished memories at Hotel Piano!

Good location with very good breakfast.

The location is close to supermarkets, places to eat and city attractions, the fact that they are pet friendly is a big plus, also the breakfast is very good.

The room was very clean, but it had a particular smell like moistness, think because of the products they use to clean the rooms.

Excellent boutique hotel with perfect location, beautiful breakfast and amazing staff!

Our 2nd stay in the family room, and we loved it again. Location is great; breakfast was plentiful. The new rule for parking made it easier this time - you have to pay to use one of the 8 parking spots inside the courtyard.

Bathroom in the family room - the door has a see-through glass pane at eye level through which you can see the person inside having a shower. The wall between the bathroom and the big room has a window up top - you could wake up the people sleeping in the big room when switching on the bathroom lights in the middle of the night. Self-adhesive window decorative foil (OBi/Praktiker) would solve this issue immediately. Lack of shower curtain and wall fixture for the shower handle. Water splashes everywhere. But the hotel management started addressing this issue during our stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location - it is 10 minutes on foot from all the sights in the city and from the shopping center Arkad. The staff were extremely friendly and informative, with excellent English. Reading the reviews of other guests, we realized that the disadvantage of the hotel is the noise of the tram that passes by it. We fully compensated for this shortcoming by booking a room overlooking the courtyard (parking lot). It is possible to park in the facility for a price of 7 euros per day. Parking is accessible and safe (located in the hotel yard). It is worth paying extra for breakfast, because it is varied and abundant, and the breakfast room is extremely pleasant, with discreet jazz music. All recommendations for this hotel. If we come to Szeged again, we will definitely stay there.

The location is perfect, literally 5 minutes on foot to the city center and other interesting points The accommodation is spacious and comfy with all the necessary equipment inside There is a great variety of food for breakfast (buffet breakfast)

Cleaning service started at 8am on one occasion Street parking is not free on Saturdays (or at least it wasn't when we were there; charges apply until 6pm). There is also 4-hour time limitation for street parking in front of the hotel so you'd better reserve a parking spot inside the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location near the main university area. The breakfest was better than some 4 star hotels i have visited in Hungary. get a room away from the main street if you don't like tram noise, they moved me when i realized i was near a tram. the staff were great and i would stay here again

Very nice stay, and if I go to Szeged again, I know where to stay.

Everything was very good besides the "oversold" but safe parking.

Don´t sell more parking in the yard, as you have. We managed to park our two cars every night, but it was a little tricky.

Quadruple room near the tram line

We've booked a quadruple room for 1 night. The staff was very nice, they prepared us everything we requested. The room was very tall, clean and nice. The breakfast is very good. We requested a parking place inside. It's not free, 5-6 euro per night but it was ok to have were to park and not to search around the hotel in the middle of the night. We had 2 beds, one queen new and very nice, and one king from PAL which was very noisy.

The quadruple room is at ground floor with the windows near the tram line. You can sleep only when the tram is stopped (00.00-05.00) otherwise is very noisy and you have the feeling that a train is passing by.
