Hotel Corallo was the perfect base for our visit to La Spezia and Cinque Terre. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to both the marina and the train station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of delicious options. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we encountered was kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We were traveling with a baby, and the level of care and attention we received made all the difference.
La Spezia itself is a great place to stay when visiting Cinque Terre. We explored the villages over two days, and even with a train strike on one of them, we were able to enjoy a scenic boat ride that was slower-paced but just as enjoyable.
We would absolutely choose to stay at Hotel Corallo again, thanks to the hospitality and warmth of the team, it felt like a home away from home.

Lovely hotel in La Spezia within walking distance of town. We had adjoining rooms as a family. Clean and modern rooms.

The hotel breakers jumped off at 10h45 at night until midnight. all lights would turn on when it’d come back. wifi was off during that time and came back in the morning. impossible to sleep before midnight. the staff wasnt accomoding about as if it was something that came up often and almost normal for them.
