All staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with large bed and great shower and ac. The breakfast was excellent with homemade offerings. Food in the restaurant was also excellent. The pool was really great. Honesty bar was very reasonably priced and welcome. Dogs were made very welcome. The whole place was relaxing with a chilled vibe and great historical touches.
The chanting music was very peaceful and fitted well with the surroundings. Other music in the evening and during breakfast was not necessary, and somewhat annoying at times. It’s quite expensive to stay, but we would stay again nonetheless.

wonderful elegant hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. excellent food excellent ambience and absolutely fabulous toiletries in the room
nothing but on the last day a large group arrived and brought loads of plastic things into the pool which spoiled the tranquility for others no fault of the hotel just the ignorance of others

Lovely building, very authentic although rather tired. Beautiful garden, lands and patios. Comfortable bed and room.
Service was poor from reception staff being unhelpful and dinner staff inexperienced and slow. Honesty bar was poorly stocked. Food at dinner was awful, we live in Spain, worst meal we have had. Roast beef with mash was a few thin slices of cold beef with previously cooked smashed potatoes with a few dried up peas. Did not risk breakfast ate in town
