Swimming in the Adriatic from the island and the pool.
One of the two bedrooms reeked of cigarette smoke. I woke up congested and with a headache. I had to sleep on the sofa bed in the kitchen the second night. When I asked the staff if there was anything they could do they offered to spray it to cover the stink - something like putting perfume on after a good workout to disguise the odor. It doesn’t work.
The hotel might be 4 stars but the apartment was most certainly not. It was tired looking and in need of an update.
We had a kitchen but no coffee maker. When I asked for a coffee maker I was told our apartment wasn’t eligible for one. I was also reminded the website doesn’t indicate a coffee maker to which I replied it doesn’t indicate no coffee maker and it does indicate a kitchen. I would think a coffee maker would automatically be included in a kitchen. I was wrong.
