Specifically wanted to be away from the extremely crowded tourist areas and wanted to remember the old Paris we knew 40 years ago. This hotel is a French hotel -what a French hotel should be - the room was big by Paris hotel standards we have experienced before, the location is great - near but far enough away and the neighbourhood is local...we loved it. Being able to use the buses to skirt the busy centre and not having to use the metro - is a godsend to us....and you see so much more!!! Coming back from the madness of the tourist centre on a bus of manly locals and settling into any local bistrot was a calming blessing.
Honestly can't think of a thing - it was an excellent French hotel -which has been renovated so the plumbing works - an example of being comfortably what it wants to be......I can't say more really.

Breakfast was good m, the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was a bit small, but it wasn’t a problem.
No parking, but that cannot be corrected.

The hotel and our room were clean and comfortable, and the location was pretty good with good public transport connections and plenty of restaurants.
I wish the AC was a bit better. It was working, but definitely not at full power. We even asked the staff to check if everything was okay, and they confirmed that it was (not too bad, but the room felt a bit warm)
