Super friendly staff, nice bar area lots of options for dining
Location was fantastic for the station on-site parking was nice and secure underground very biker friendly happy to stay there again
Bed was a bit hard, but that was all
Some of the decor was aged but added to the overall feel

The hotel is really handy for the station, which has regular trains up to Zermatt, and also down to Visp. We liked the balcony and the breakfast had lots of choice. The hotel felt quite traditional and welcoming. The staff we spoke to were really nice
The WiFi kept dropping out every couple of minutes which was annoying. Some aspects of the hotel were a bit old fashioned or tired, like the bathroom. We would stay here again though, I expect it's really cosy in the winter

Excellent location next to the train station with only a 15 minute train into Zermatt.
Quite outdated, but that didn't really matter.

Really well located, just a few steps away from the train station and two supermarkets.
The rooms (and bathrooms) could use an update. Our room was on the top floor and there was a big window that could not be darkened at all. Breakfast was acceptable, but extremely basic.
