Treacys West County Conference and Leisure Centre

Just on the edge of the town so avoided the main traffic. Being there for only 4 nights unfortunately didn’t get to experience all of the facilities, as we were out all day exploring the surrounding areas. We only tried one of the two in-house restaurants but the food was good. Also ate at the bar, again good food & nightly entertainment from local solo musicians. There’s a games room for kids, gym, pool & jacuzzi & pool tables in the bar area.

It had been reported , but we were at the rear on the third floor. A large tank was continually overflowing, apparently with a faulty valve, but it sounded like overflowing guttering constantly when in or room. Could have done with a couple more disabled parking spaces as we had a long walk one night to the entrance as both were taken.

Enjoyed the pool and steam room plus the breakfast. Nice big room too.

Somewhat dated decor.

The location of the property was only a short drive from the town centre, but the restaurant and bar onsite meant that we chilled out in the evening there instead of venturing into Ennis town. There was a lovely atmosphere around especially with all the children and young families I found there was a lovely mix of all age groups which was great! The food was absolutely stunning and the staff were lovely!

In terms of the room I do feel the bathroom could do with a bit of upgrading. The sink was cracked as were tiles on the floor. The room itself was lovely however the mattresses were very hard. The family room we had was a bit tight for space however it did us fine.
