The staff were exceptionally friendly, and we were upgraded to the best room in the hotel since it was available and offered more space for our family of four. The view over the city is stunning, and the jacuzzi was definitely a highlight for the kids. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has preserved its charm over time. Additionally, the private parking made our stay much more convenient.
Honestly, there wasn't much to complain about. Breakfast was also very good. Perhaps a slightly more refined dining experience could be offered for dinner at the hotel, but despite that, the food was enjoyable and the recipes were authentically local.

Staff were very friendly and impressively multi-lingual - English, German and French spoken at the check-in desk while we were there! The breakfast buffet was excellent. Conveniently located, very central and with private parking (we were on a road trip so this was important).
The hotel was much larger than we anticipated! It was a little tired in places. We booked a family room, with four beds, so it was very functional but the bathroom was outdated - a corner bath with shower in the bath and no shower curtain, not ideal! We were only there for x1 night so it didn't matter so much and I did see some of the other rooms - not facing the main road like ours - had balconies and looked delightful!
