The location, the staff, the extremely comfy beds. The hostal doesn't look much from outside but inside it's very different. It's very easy to access from the road which makes it a really good stop off point if you're on a long journey. We were heading to Galicia from Málaga and it was a perfect place to stop.
The only problem was that someone in the opposite bedroom was smoking all night and the whole corridor smelt of smoke so badly that it even entered our room. I'm very sensitive to cigarette smoke so it was quite unpleasant. But other than that it was great.

There's a supermarket right over the road. Bull ring just down the road to look at from the outside, and aqueduct just a bit further.. Bar and restaurant on site was helpful, and the food was nice, very popular spot with locals. Able to keep our touring bicycles securely inside over night in a ground-floor room. Great, thanks!
Its a bit far our of town if the old town is your main destination.

The atmosphere of this hostal and the staff are amazing! The 3 course set menu lunch is delicious and the value for money is exceptional. We make sure that we stay here every time we travel through Spain.

The location was ok, and it had a decent restaurant for lunch. There is a supermarket, and farmacy in front.
The smell was very bad, the bed was not comfortable, breakfast very basic, not very good transportation.
