The hotel was functional and what was most important to me worked well - especially cleanliness, storage space, air conditioning and wifi. This was the first time I chose functionality of aesthetics and it was definitely the right move. My family chose a beautifully aesthetic hotel with suited and booted staff on the next street up, but their air conditioning stopped for long periods of time and the toilets had a bad smell from time to time, so definitely recommend functionality over aesthetics in this case. The staff were very helpful.
Somethings in the room were broken/didn't work - for example the dustbin lid in the room, the safe and some tiles were missing in the shower, but these were bearable and not a big issue for me. The hotel is also not suitable for people who can't climb steps or easily walk uphill/downhill

The beds were comfy and the staff accommodating. The location is excellent. That's all.
The bathroom door was broken. The shower stopped working. The toilet seat was also fairly broken. I opted for a sea view room with separate beds. They first allotted me a non-sea view room and then upgraded me. The sea was barely visible from my 'upgraded' room too. Not worth the money.
