The receptionist is really friendly and always ready to help. I remembered that we did not have a water bottle in our room and when I told him , he bought the bottle for me instantly and didnt charge anything..Really Impressing

The location of the hotel is excellent, that's for sure. It's on a quiet street, no traffic at night, no noise from the outside. Peace and quiet, and in the same time in the perfect spot close to everything, in the Fatih Old Town. City center, but quiet. The receptionist gave me plastic cups for drinks when I requested glasses in the late evening.

We thought that the hotel has much higher standard than it actually has. Ratings and reviews are too high, in my opinion, and the photos of rooms are inaccurate. The price of the room was reduced by my Genius discount, and yet it was still too expensive compared to what standard this hotel has, so even the value for money wasn't that good. The room was shabby and dirty, with spots of mould in the sleeping room and bathroom. The bed is small, and they put too small bed sheet on the bed, so it was peeling off at the slightest movement. The receptionist gave us the extra towell when we asked him, because there was only one towell for body in the room when we arrived, and one small hand towell. However, we had to ask and remind him about this towell like three times before we got it. Also, we got only one duvet, but in reality it was not wide enough for two people to cover with it. We asked for extra duvet before the first night, but we had to sleep two nights with only one narrow duvet before we got the second one (after insisting for it a couple times). Pillows were deformed and uncomfortable, like someone would put random-sized stuff under your head. The curtains can't fully cover the windows, so too much light slips into the room in the night. It's difficult to move and exit the bathroom, since the door opens inward, and there is no space in the bathroom. If the door would open outward, it would hit the bed, since the bed is next to the bathroom. There was a kitchenette in the hallway next to our room on the first floor, but it was abandoned and filthy, with no dishes or any items available in it. Even the water pipe above the sink doesn't work there. Also, if this is the Standard Double Room that we got, I wonder how small is Budget Double Room in this hotel, since this one was tiny? All in all, a very low standard room.
