we had a great stay at blue istanbul htel. The staffs were very helpful and very attentive to our requests. everything was close to the hotel - including blue mosque, hagia sofia, all within walking distance. Grand bazaar also very close. Plenty of restaurants nearby. also very close to tram station - camberlitas. so the location is superb!

It was good location, convenient to the main attractions
The room was average, and unfortunately, one of the back-door locks was not closing properly. Reception told us it was okay because it wasn’t the main entrance and the room was in the basement. However, the basement window is directly accessible from outside, so someone could potentially enter quite easily.
We raised this safety concern with the staff because we were staying as a family with children, but they said it could be fixed in the morning. We didn’t feel this was an appropriate response to a security concern.
Also, the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly, as they rarely smiled or showed much warmth.
Overall, the room was average, but the security issue was disappointing and should have been taken more seriously.
