The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. We were in a pool view room with a patio that was nice to sit out on in the morning. The staff were VERY helpful in getting us train tickets, since I couldn't use the app without having a Laos phone number. The pool was very clean and so refreshing after a hot day touring temples. Breakfast was quite nice, with an egg station, as well as offering traditional Lao food, which my husband loved for its spiciness. (coffee was just so-so)
Pricing for a driver to take us to Kuang Si waterfalls and then back to town was confusing. We ended up using the driver for half a day, but had initially been told that it was a full day outing. When we wanted to add on different temples or sights in town, even though we had only spent 1 hour at the falls, we were told there would be extra charges. Maybe it was due to a language barrier/miscommunication?

Excellent
The coffee. I had much better coffee at a cafe in town.

The staff were wonderful. We liked the pool.

The friendliness of the staff, and the swimming pool area.
The reception and the breakfast area are run down. They look more like an youth hostel !
In the room, you can't open the curtains, otherwise no privacy. The rooms needs to be refreshed.
