We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The stay was great value, comfortable and really very pleasant.
Just a couple of slight issues. We were advised that our room would be ready for 15:00hrs when we arrived we were told the room wasn’t ready. It wasn’t ready until 16:00hrs. Also the room was very warm even though there was no heating on.
Apart from these two issues our stay was enjoyable with an emphasis on our welcome and committed staff.

Comfy beds. A bit noisy when the dray was delivered.
Food was excellent ( best poached eggs I’ve had )as were all the staff. They were friendly, courteous and accommodated our visiting family( including children) for dinner.
Nothing to be negative about. A cosy and welcoming pub, great food and super service all round. Great location. Would highly recommend.
