Butique hotel, some 800 m from the bus station and the shopping and dining areas. Very close to maharaja palace with museums and library (200 m). The property has a homely and cosy feel, which I liked very much. The room is spacious, as is the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to get an auto rickshaw to go anywhere in the city. It takes only 5-10 minute ride to the main attraction, Brihadeshwar temple. Our room was not looking at the street, so it was quiet and pleasant to stay. Nice and spacious square hall from which you enter the rooms with two tables and chairs and benches on which you can sit, work and rest if you don't want to stay in the room for some time.
Nothing in particular. Maybe some attention to polishing some details (for example, the exit of wires and tubes at the side of AC could be polished a bit. Not real complain, just a suggestion to the owner. Hotel restaurant was not working (some reconstruction is going on). It would make the stay even more comfortable.

I heard a lot about this hotel and restaurant and the huge restoration work. Indeed the place seems to be nice
Clearly the restaurant is not working any longer. No breakfast was offered. Very few staff and no explanation about how everything became so different. Probably because Covid. I think I was the only guest on that night which was a bit scary. So I left the next morning. Room was nice but not so clean and the bathroom was in poor shape. Probably because of no maintenance since Covid
