In a small place like Kumbakonam, Tamara is ideal to spend your vacation with family comfortably and visit temples with ease. Well trained courteous staff is their advantage.
As most of the customers come to visit temples and would like to leave early in the morning to temples, coffe/tea and limited options in breakfast can be made available at 6 am, if found feasible.

I didn't eat in your restaurant.
Since I missed both breakfasts on my 2 days' of stay, I requested from Guru temple, to provide lunch freely on 11th when I left. They said it won't be ready by 10.45 when I returned from temple. They said that they can provide bread toast & coffee which will be charged. I felt that charges of Rs.295/- for 2 cups of milk I had room served on 9-6-26 is very high & did not have the toast & bread which I felt will be charged heavily. I vacated by 11 a.m. on 11-6-26.
