Location was a short distance from the airport and for an inexpensive price Jordan drove us into Sofia City Centre and took extra time and effort to drop us off at our correct location. He was extremely helpful.

I've always used Avel Guest House when visiting Bulgaria. The price is good, it's quite a quiet location and the bed is really comfy. The host, Jordan, can't do enough for me including ordering take out meals and transport between the airport and train station. I like to have the ground floor room at the back if possible as it's quiet and shaded. looking forward to returning next year.

I stayed there only for a few hours, basically to get to the airport the next morning. The guest house is conveniently located for the airport and the owner is a very friendly and helpful man. He brought me to the airport at 5:15 in the morning for 10 lev. Internet was good and the shower was nice and hot. Other than that I can't say much about the room since I only stayed there for a few hours.

Excellent host, used for pick ups from the train and to the airport. The room was very clean with very good heating and a comfy bed. The shared kitchen was clean and had everything needed for self catering on a short stay. I'll use Avel whenever I visit Sofia and thoroughly recommend it for good value.
