Lovely accommodation and outdoor swimming pool. Staff were really kind, helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything. Breakfast was delicious. Location is on a main road- right across from a supermarket (very handy!) but the accommodation is peaceful and serene. We really enjoyed our stay and we'd stay again!
Nothing to say. It was a lovely stay.

We loved our stay at Gunung Merta. The staff is amazing and welcoming, the place itself is amazingly beautiful and a few mins walk away from the center. The food was excellent. We extended for an extra 2 nights cause we loved it so much.
Only downside is the drain in the shower was clogged so there was water in the bathroom after showers. Fixed itself in a few mins after.

Excellent staff, very helpful and catered to our needs.
Breakfast was also excellent. Spa staff and the massage is highly recommended.
Swimming pool was peaceful, good temperature and we spent half a morning there.
The hotel is off a main road therefore it’s noisy, ear plugs are provided. You will face this issue in most hotels in central ubud due to the heavy congestion and traffic.

Close to main street, nice and polite staff, quiet from busy road
Please do not believe positive review. I don’t know how come this hotel has high rating. All these pictures are different in real. Dirty and old dated bathroom. Brown stains and strange smell in towels and doors not opening and closing well. Have to find staff and most of time no one is at reception although they are friendly and helpful.
