Beautiful Balinese style hotel in the centre of Ubud. Big rooms with a lovely balcony and great breakfast. Although the hotel is located off the main road which is noisy the hotel is very quiet.
Indonesia’s tropical climate does make it very damp in hotel rooms, and there was dampness that you could feel in this hotel room, very challenging to tackle this.

We loved staying here during in our 5 nights in Ubud. It was very quiet and it was like staying in a temple. The room was great and we liked chilling on the balcony in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was also great to have a mini-bar with very reasonable prices so we could have refreshments in the room without being charged a fortune.
We arranged 2 tours through reception and our driver, Ton, was excellent and very friendly and informative.
The location was ideal for Ubud, a short walk into the main busy streets, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There was also a supermarket just across the road which was ideal.
The pool was small but fine for cooling off after a busy day exploring, or for an early morning swim.
A couple of things that didn't go to plan with our stay. Firstly, we had booked a driver through Gunung Merta to collect us from our hotel in Uluwatu and take us to Ubud, this was confirmed on numerous occasions but no driver arrived. We tried to phone the accommodation to see what the problem was but it took 40 minutes to get through, when we did get through we were told that it would be better to use the Grab app to get a taxi to Ubud. We did this and it worked fine but delayed our departure from Uluwatu by over an hour. This was a disappointing start to our stay here, it would have been nice to have had some communication that the driver wasn't going to come.
Secondly, we booked a tour one evening for a trip to Sidemen Valley the following day with an 8am start. When we got up the next morning we discovered that the trip hadn't actually been arranged. This was quickly rectified by the morning staff and we departed 30 minutes later but it was annoying because we had got up early especially for the original booking.
This place is great, and the staff are very friendly, but these two instances did leave a sour taste in the mouth and they should be more certain when booking drivers for their guests

Very unique and pretty amazing grounds and aesthetic. Nice refreshing pool.
More hooks in the rooms to hang items. More towels would have been nice too.
