What a phenomenal place to stay. Truly magic. Only a 5 minute walk to the main street and another 5 mins to the middle of it all. It's worth the short walk to be in the beautiful forest. The room was wonderful with a beautiful balcony to read on. The pool temp was amazing and never busy. The breakfast was simple and fresh. The spa was so relaxing. The air con was perfect and quick to cool the room at the end of the day.

We had a unit downstairs with our own enclosed courtyard, so very private. The room was very clean and had everything we required, from a table and chairs to have our included breakfast on, two outdoor chairs, plus a lounge chair, a very big bed. The bathroom was large and had a good shower with hot water. The staff were amazing, and very friendly.
Amanda and her staff took great care of us during our 7 day stay.
The swimming pool was very nice too and the surrounding grounds were lovely with all the plants and palms.
We would recommend Alas Petulu, especially for couples.
There are a lot of stairs on the property, most are easy to use, but some are high steps.

Lovely staff, lovely breakfasts, lovely spacious and private room with balcony surrounded by beautiful trees, the sound of birds and the water flowing from the infinity pool into the pool below, views of the pools and the lovely gardens. The villa felt very quiet and private.
No poolside service of food or beverages. You have to walk through the busy main street to get to the quieter walks through the rice paddies. But this is being picky!
