Relaxing family vacation

Great atmosphere, great service, always with a smile and generocity. The proximity of the rooms to the pool, the beach and the surrounding restaurants, shops, etc. is also perfect. The whole setup creates a flow that has a fully emmersive resort experience.

Excellent family beach holiday with a great pool - if you want to relax come here!

The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked a treat! The meals were delicious with a different menu every evening. This resort is perfect for families as the pool is lovely and the beach and restaurants are all directly opposite. Down at the beach we thoroughly enjoyed hire our sunbeds €5 each from Costa Anita . Our toasted club sandwiches and cocktails we're delicious. All the staff at Aylmirda hotel were lovely especially Marianna who served us every evening. She made our family feel so welcome and is a credit to this hotel. The housekeeping cleaning staff are all amazing too. Reception staff also very helpful. Organised our taxi transfer to and from the airport costing us €55 cash each way. This is a great hotel that makes you feel so welcome and the area is safe - everything walking distance just how we like it.

Very good place to be and especially the stuff were excellent that they really made a difference.

The breakfast was situated up floor in terrace,open air but cover and breakfast was really nice and lots of choices but same every day.

As I said was every day the same breakfast even though the choice was a lots and nice but nothin new and could be improve this and if you want espresso , latte or cappuccino you have to pay extra and I didn't like that. This also could be improve as they offer filter coffee.

A place definitely worth revisiting whenever in Crete

Personal stuff were super nice with us and with our little 1 year old daughter. Everyone was approaching us with a smile and helpful all the time. Food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner. Hotel and room were super clean. The view of our room was breathtaking. Location was great for us as a family, everything was near by and a nice beach just 5 min walking.

I would recommend having air conditioning in the hotel by the reception and the restaurant. It was sometimes super warm and hard to enjoy the good food. But over all, we have enjoyed our stay ☺️

- amazing staff esp Nikos and waitress who remembered my breakfast drinks order every day - location - facilities - rooftop bar in other hotel etc - breakfast very good - very quiet, good nights sleep

comments are just suggestions for improvement, that’s all. - cigarette smoke sometimes drifts from other balconies into one’s room; smoking/non smoking sections would be useful - the wine menu on the rooftop terrace could be improved - lip around shower is a trip hazard - lip around stairs from dining terrace into buffet area is a trip hazard

It was comfortable but wouldn’t stay there again

The room was lovely, we didn’t use the pool, we didn’t have dinner ther as it was too expensive

Breakfast, they didn’t cater for all nationalities and it was cold

Great location by the beach, friendly staff and a good choice of pools etc

I stayed in the Almyrida Beach Hotel which is much older than the Resort Hotel across the road. It is rather tired and needs a full refurbishment. The shower scalded me numerous times and the power failed in the room due to components failing within the fuse box. It was temporarily repaired within about 30 minutes but a sign that everything’s wearing out.

Wonderful apart from the sexiest behaviour of manager

Most of the staff are lovely, professional and couldn’t do more for you…. However…

I judge a place by how they deal when something goes wrong. We made a mistake by booking half board as they simply don’t cater for vegetarians- infact the chef thought his offering of ‘steamed broccoli’ was perfectly adequate. The staff member Soraris who was sent in like the heavy mob to deal with the ladies of the party who were calmly trying to solve the issue, clearly needs some lessons in customer service, but could probably lead a masterclass in sexism himself. Just appalling lack of sensitivity and care, I am sure they will respond to this and we will be unable to respond back- so just to be clear- it is unacceptable in 2022 to treat women this way, roll your eyes and sign and ‘only solve the problem’ when a male customer gets involved. Shame on you. As a result we hired a car and explored this wonderful island as we didn’t want further confrontations, so actually it did us a wonderful favour as we explored so much more than we would have.

Exceeded our expectations! Superb friendly and well run hotel with excellent facilities.

Warm welcome, professional and helpful reception (in particular Aphrodite at hotel and Elini at studios) - fabulous waiters and waitresses- nothing was too much trouble. Excellent decor and super smart bathrooms and comfy beds in modern attractive rooms. Excellent value on half board- both breakfast and dinner offered a wide choice and something for everyone. We moved to studios and the location in beach waa amazing. The whole 4 nights was wonderful. We had a massage across the road at the sister hotel which was excellent and there was jazz on the roof terrace one evening which was delightful. The pool area was also perfect and the pool a great size! All in all u cannot fault this hotel and I'm fussy! Well done to all the management and staff for a perfect four days! Thank you.

All the Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast had a nice selection

Great stay! I recommend!

The hotel is very cute and clean. The location is great and the view is simply amazing .The staff is extremely polite and the cleanliness is really good. The breakfast was spectacular. On the roof-top bar I had the best pizza I have ever tasted. The Wi-Fi is also quite good.

The dinner buffet could have been better, but it was still ok, because the staff is really great.

Almyrida Beach is a wonderful hotel for a relaxed comfortable holiday

this was our third visit to the property. the staff are warm and friendly the rooms are comfortable and very clean. the pool is great for children and adults The location is great as it is so close to restaurants and the beach.

Very friendly staff, thank you all! Very clean Nice location close to the beach Big delicious breakfast The rooftop bar is cool and happy hour is a deal, plus they have live music some nights! All in all is not a bad place to stay!

We were staying at the Studios, and breakfast was served in another location, except last day. It was way nicer here. There was literally a battle on the sunbeds by the pools. People would reserved them at 7 in the morning and then there no chance to get one. Plus they dont have sunbeds on the beah. Our hotel didnt provide beach towels, even touugh the other 2 locations did. And we paid actually a lot. The walls are extremely thin. We heard everything the couple next to us was doing. Bathroom were renewed, but the rooms are a bit outdated. There were kids at the adults only pool!

great place, would reccomend!

roof top pool was amazing. breakfast on the roof was nice. my kids loved the pool table. town it was in offers a lot of cute restaurants. beautiful beach. hotel has sun beds on beach but the best part of the beach is just a 2min walk away

bed sheets were single on king bed. our balcony had the sun blaring into it in the evening making it impossible to sit and enjoy the view.

It was not absolutely clear-when we booked our studio ,there is 3 separated buildings,-the Almyrida Studio 5 minutes walks-far away the “main”building ,where the mail was.
