Lovely view of on to the grounds

We stayed in one of the garden cottages which was just lovely. Very peaceful and private,8 with an outlook over the river. Very clean and modern, small kitchen, although a bit too small to be called " self catering". There is a fully equipped kitchen in the main guesthouse building, we didn't use this as it was a bit inconvenient to cross the large grassy yard in the rain. However it would be a good choice in better weather.
The whole complex is spotlessly clean, well maintained and very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay
It has to be said - the crazy square cups!!!! Ridiculous and impossible to drink out of - is this some kind of joke? We went to the supermarket and bought cups to use, because who wants to be tipping tea or coffee down there face at every attempt to drink. Even if they worked, they are so tiny anyway, be warned!
We would have appreciated a toaster in the unit, that would be very helpful and I would have thought it would be a standard

It was efficient and clean.
It was bland and sterile. I felt no warmth from the staff.
Stale smell in the room.
