Lovely self-service accommodation in a quiet village in Clare. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, with a tea and coffee station in the hallway. The village has a beautiful abbey within walking distance, a lovely tavern nearby where we had dinner and a pub next door for a quiet drink. A great location for visiting places such as the Burren and Bunratty Castle. We originally booked it as a convenient place to stay for the Irish Open, but were pleasantly surprised by the charming village and friendly, welcoming locals. Would happily stay again.
No reception area, although clear check-in instructions were emailed before arrival. Parking is limited, but there is parking available at a nearby church just a short walk down the road.

Breakfast not offered but they did provide tea and coffee. Room was done to a very high standard and was spotless.
The noise level made it very difficult to sleep and we had an early start to get to the airport the next day so it really did not suit. Maybe because it was a Saturday night and the pub next door was packed and had music. The room we stayed in was room two and the noise really penetrated.
