Real value for money stay in cosy Kenmare

Big room for a very good price. Anna who was welcoming us was very kind and service minded. The restaurant 35 was recommended, very good and price worthy.

No breakfast available but their are plenty of nice breakfast restaurants in the area. We choose Maison Gourmet.

Would highly recommend it, especially if you want to be close to everything in town.

Mary and her staff were very pleasant and helpful. They had our rooms available early so that we could dress for a wedding after we arrived. Mary also offered us a late check-out on our final morning which was nice. Lots of parking on site. Perfect location within the town, close to everything and easy to find.

Nothing really. We enjoyed our stay there and will probably stay there again.

Good location

No breakfast at this location, but easy walk to town. The location was excellent for walking to town in evening and enjoying the shops and pubs.

Facility is right on a busy street and if you have a room facing the street there are truck and car noise most of the night.

Great value! What a gem. I, like a bonehead, had left my passport and money at the hotel. Mary, the owner, aka the queen of Kenmare, went out of her way to make sure she tracked me down and got me back my passport and money! Unbelievable! Great experience, great stay and great people.

The location is fantastic--a bit tricky to turn into the drive the first time. Pubs and restaurants within a block. She's no longer serving breakfast so you need to find that on your own, but the room was a good size and very comfortable.

Mary was so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and everything we needed was there. There was a nice little kitchen available for our use while there too which was pretty handy the guest house is right in the town too just around the corner from a nice street full of bars, cafés and restaurants

It was so close to the town so was ideal, the room sizes were more than enough. A bath and shower so would suit all. Beds were extremely comfortable. tea/coffee facilities ideal. And the landlady is lovely!. Parking available so suited us.

Kenmare jewel

Hawthorn House was outstanding. The location was within walking distance of a number of restaurants and pubs. The room was nice and comfortable.

Due to covid interaction with the staff was very limited.

€100 for a (good) mattress with a faulty toilet is too much. No personal attention and no breakfast

The WC itself had a faulty flusher. Handle came off then too. Mattress good. At checking in we were told cash only, just leave it with the key in the room in the morning. No-one else in the building, it felt like just one room was available. No-one in the morning to ask us how was our stay. We have stayed here before but now bitterly disappointed with the level of attention by owner.

Located in the heart of Kenmare, this gorgeous B&B is within walking distance from the wide variety of restaurants, pubs , shops and cafes in Kenmare. Large room with an en-suite was perfect for our stay. Good on-site parking facilities helped out a lot too!

Great location and parking.

No hot water in the tap or shower. Nobody available to report to in the morning and no answer through message centre.
