Bikers hotel: internal parking area, closed after 9 o'clock.
Warm welcome from the staff.
Room is on the small side (typical in France), but the bathroom was a good size, especially the big and modern shower.
Very clean with all the amenities.
Nice breakfast
our twin bed room was a bit small (but well organised, so all our bikers stuff did actually fit)

Good and comfortable bedrooms with well-fitted showers but.....
.......the rest of the hotel was rather shabby, with disnterested staff. It's the first time I have come across a french hotel that served burnt and tasteless breakfast coffee!
Poor old St Jean de Maurienne has seen better days, but let's hope the 1,000+ students at The Lycee will help it have a brighter future!
