Our stay was comfortable overall!

Grace was phenomenal and was very attentive to any needs that my family had. She treats you as if she’s known you her whole life. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. We will be staying here again in the future because of Grace and her staff! Thank you!

Nice for a short stay

The room was nice, facing the garden. The staff was friendly and did their best. Loved the festival in town.

The fancy countryside pictures create certain expectations of peace and quiet, but in reality there is a noisy road in front of the place. Didn't like the mattress, you feel the springs. I also don't like to set a time for breakfast when being on vacation. Breakfast was plain classic Irish/British breakfast so we decided to eat elsewhere instead.

Amazing , clean place - lovely and welcoming staff

The facilities , the room (the room was spotless)- everything was fantastic! Grace was very welcoming , very friendly! The rest of the staff were also very friendly! The food was amazing.. Good location Definitely stay again soon…

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property , it was perfect for our 3 nights stay!

Friendly owners, clean and nice rooms, good bed - easy to find, just by the highway.

It is very easy to find as it is located along the highway. Staff was very very nice and friendly. Our room was tip top - nice and clean and good beds.

Looking at the picture we expected to be staying somewhere in the countryside - not just besides a highway. The picture is accurate but does not show how near the road is. Luckily we had a room facing the garden, so we could sleep, but in the bathroom the window could not close completely, so it was very cold and the noise came in. With the door closed you did not hear the noise in the room. Breakfast was okay - simple but okay. We would have loved some more variation to put on the toast and also wheat toast not only white toast. We could ask for more toast and coffee so we did get enough to eat.

I would not recommend due to payment issues noted above

Easy to find, good breakfast, parking easy.

When we arrived, owner informed us her credit card machine was broken and repairman did not come to fix it that day, so she asked for payment in cash. Luckily we had enough Euros with us to pay our bill but it made me wonder what would have happened if we did not have it with us. The owner told us we would have to go to a cash machine in the very small town of Abbeyfeale. I only will use bank ATM’s while traveling internationally, as they offer best exchange rates, so if one wasn’t available in that small town this could have been a major issue for us. Since we made the booking on Booking.com and secured it with a credit card, why couldn’t owner have used this platform to secure payment? This happened within 5-10 minutes of our arrival after a day of sightseeing in West Ireland. It left a “bad taste” in my mouth.

Outstanding Accommodations

Tom and Noreen were very accommodating and helpful with our many questions about the local area during our stay. They have a beautiful home conveniently located with easy access to several nearby restaurants. Our room was super clean and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was served. We highly recommend that you consider staying at the Park Lodge.

Beautiful guesthouse

Beautiful guest house. It was spotless, very comfortable beds, the breakfast was delicious and the owners couldn't do enough to make sure we were full during breakfast. The hosts were so friendly and I would highly reccomend this guest house. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely comfortable stay

A well kept B&B, we had a very comfortable stay, we booked 2 rooms for our family of 4. Both rooms were clean & opposite each other. We asked for an early breakfast due to our flight time & this wasn’t a problem. The breakfast was delicious & good choice of menu. We’d definitely book again

This place was fantastic! For very good value, it was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, owners were nice and helpful, and the breakfast was great! I can only recommend to stay there :)

The only very minor thing I could criticize is that the beds, although very comfortable, were a bit short for anyone taller than 1.85m.

Hospitality was good, friendly and the accommodation was very clean.

Everything clean, fresh,

It was a little on the expensive side for a B and B. Our 4 star hotel the next night was cheaper and evrrything was A plus.
